Statement from Governor Pat Quinn on Retirement of U.S. Representative Jerry Costello

CHICAGO - October 4, 2011. Governor Pat Quinn today released a statement regarding today's announcement of the retirement of U.S. Representative Jerry Costello (D-Ill.).

"Congressman Costello is a tireless advocate for the citizens of Illinois and his district, and has spent his career in Congress working across the aisle to get things done. He has helped boost Illinois' job creation and economic development by working to improve transportation infrastructure and encourage clean coal technologies.
