Gov. Pritzker Announces Three Appointments to Illinois Authorities and Administrator Positions

Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration:

FINANCE AUTHORITY

Jeffrey Wright will continue to serve on the Board of Directors of the Finance Authority.* Wright is the Managing Partner of Gold Leaf Capital Partners, a leading financial services firm focused on providing access to capital and advisory services for business owners and commercial real estate investors. Wright has nearly fifteen years of experience in financial services. Throughout his career, he has originated, underwritten, managed and closed over 200 debt transactions. Wright analyzed operational, financial and management risks associated with new and existing lending relationships as a commercial credit analyst early in his career. He has advised clients across diverse sectors including manufacturing, food services, business services, security management, environmental remediation, childcare, health care, and commercial real estate development and investment. He received his Master of Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School, Master of Business Administration in finance and entrepreneurship at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and his Bachelor of Science in international business at Georgetown University.

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATOR AND PUBLIC GUARDIAN OF MCLEAN COUNTY

Robert Porter will serve as the Public Administrator and Public Guardian of McLean County.* Porter is a Partner at Costigan & Wollrab P.C. representing clients in a variety of civil litigation matters. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois and the Central U.S. District Court of Illinois. Porter is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the McLean County Bar Association. He also serves as a board member of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the McLean County Museum of History. Porter received his Bachelor of Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University and Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.

SOUTHWESTERN ILLINOIS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

Vicky McElroy will serve on the Southwestern Illinois Development Authority.* McElroy serves as the Apprentice Coordinator/Facility Manager for the Illinois Laborers and Contractors Training Fund. She previously served as a union laborer for Laborers Local 179. McElroy works with local labor organizations, Lewis and Clark Community College, and Southwestern Illinois College.
