Gov. Pritzker Announces Two Appointments to State Board
Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration:
CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL
Brittani Kindle will continue to serve on the Children and Family Services Advisory Council.* Kindle currently serves as the Manager of Social Work and Supportive Services at MetroSquash, an organization that combines academic support, competitive squash, and enrichment opportunities to empower students to realize their potential and make their mark. She previously worked at Safe Families for Children, the Center for Law and Social Work, and the CalYouth Project. Kindle is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Illinois Youth and Family Services Advisory Council and the Associate Board of the Kaleidoscope 4 Kids. She is a recipient of the University of Chicago Dean's Distinguished Leadership Award and the Council on Social Work Education's Minority Fellowship Program. Kindle earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Stanford University and Master of Arts in Social Administration from the University of Chicago.
Sherrie Crabb will serve on the Children and Family Services Advisory Council.* In her 12 years of behavioral health experience, Crabb has served as Child and Adolescent Program Coordinator, Behavioral Health Assistant Director and currently CEO and Executive Director of Family Counseling Center, Inc. Crabb is a current board member of Healthy Southern 7 Region Coalition, the State of Illinois Youth Budget Commission, Saints Foundation at Shawnee Community College and One Shawnee, and she a former member of Illinois Collaboration on Youth. She chairs the Illinois Partners for Human Services and the Small and Rural Provider Steering Committee of the Community Behavioral Healthcare Association. Crabb received her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Science from Eastern Illinois University.
