Illinois EPA Announces Fall 2019 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events
SPRINGFIELD - Illinois EPA Director John J. Kim today announced the Agency has scheduled household hazardous waste collections for the fall of 2019. Illinois EPA household hazardous waste collections provide residents an opportunity to safely dispose of unused or leftover household products commonly found in homes at no cost. Currently, five sites have been confirmed for the fall with an additional three locations being finalized. The additional collections will be announced in the near future.
"As one of our most popular programs, residents are given the opportunity to clear out unused chemicals and other hazardous wastes from their homes while knowing they will be disposed of properly," said Director Kim.
