IDOA ANNOUNCES MIDWEEK MOTIVATOR CONTEST

SPRINGFIELD, IL - The Illinois State Fair has teamed up with Neuhoff Media for a four-day promotion - Monday, Aug. 12 through Thursday, Aug. 15 - awarding daily prize packages valued at more than $600 to fairgoers. Daily prizes will include a choice of four (4) Grandstand Concert/Stage Side Party Tickets or four (4) Multi-Purpose Arena Event Tickets, plus an ISF Discount Admission Booklet (includes 11 adult admissions), Four (4) Neuhoff Media Donated Event Tickets to various college or professional sporting events, a Seasonal Parking Pass (includes parking for each day of the Fair), Twenty (20) Carnival Ride Tickets, Four (4) Giant Slide Ride Tickets, Four (4) Sky Glider Tickets along with a Bucket of Donuts provided by the Donut Family!

ALL participants registering during this four-day promotion also will automatically have their names submitted for a chance to win one of the three (3) Grand Prizes including a drone donated by Neuhoff Media, a golf car donated by Battery Specialists + Golf Cars valued at $4,000 and a hot tub valued at nearly $8,000 from Backyard Leisure.  Winners will be announced live during the Sports Radio 1450 ‘Press Box' broadcast between 10 am and 12 pm at The Shed Barn & Grill on Saturday, Aug. 17, and also streamed live on the Illinois State Fair Facebook Page.
 
Registration will take place DAILY at the following locations: Illinois Department of Agriculture Tent (Central Avenue), Illinois State Fair Museum (north end of Grandstand), Battery Specialists + Golf Cars (on Main Street just south of Expo Building main entrance), Backyard Leisure (Coliseum Lane just north of Central Ave.) and the Neuhoff Media location in the Miller Lite Tent.  In addition to these five locations being used every day, registration also will be available at the following locations on these dates: Monday, 8/12, Illinois Building (inside Main Gate); Tuesday, 8/13, Coliseum of Champions (Central Avenue); Wednesday, 8/14, Governor's Tent (Main St & Brian Raney Ave); and Thursday, 8/15, DNR's Conservation World (Director Callahan's Tent).  Registration locations will be posted on Illinois State Fair social media and sponsors' websites and announced on Neuhoff Media radio stations throughout the contest. Contestants must register at these locations between 10:00am and 4:30pm. Daily winners will be drawn at the Emmerson Building at 5:00 pm and be contacted via phone and/or text.  Participants must be 16 years of age or older to participate and need not be present to win.
