SATURDAY IS GOVERNOR'S DAY AT THE DU QUOIN STATE FAIR

DU QUOIN, IL - Saturday, August 25th is Governor's Day at the 2018 Du Quoin State Fair! While Governor Rauner attends several days of the Du Quoin State Fair, this is his day to host special guests and meet fairgoers. Here are just a few highlights of the events for Saturday:

• Jr. Dairy Show at 9:00 a.m. in the C Bar Land & Cattle Pavilion
• Heavy Horse Show at 9:00 a.m. in the Heartland Coca-Cola Horse Arena
• Southern Thread Boutique Fashion Show featuring County Fair Queens at 1:30 p.m. in the Heartland Coca-Cola Expo Hall
• 2018 Du Quoin State Fair Karaoke Contest at 2:00 p.m. on the RollnUp Beer Tent Stage - winner will open for Blackberry Smoke in the Grandstand Saturday night
• Ponytail/Pigtail Contest at 2:30 p.m. in the Heartland Coca-Cola Expo Hall
• Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show at 5:00 p.m. on Hayes Avenue
• Blackberry Smoke with The Steel Woods at 7:30 p.m. in the Grandstand
• Johnny Rock-itt at 9:00 p.m. on the RollnUp Beer Tent Stage
