WHAT: Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs (IDVA) will present the Trickster Art Gallery of Schaumburg, Illinois with the Illinois Veterans' Business Appreciation Award (Fourth Quarter FY 2017) for their contributions and efforts to the Veteran community. The Trickster Art Gallery is the only Native American owned and operated institution in the State of Illinois that lead the nation in documenting and preserving the stories of Native American veterans for educational purposes. This award is designed to highlight and honor those businesses or organizations that go above and beyond the regular call of service to support veterans. Nominees are evaluated based on their leadership, dedication, innovation, and impact in serving these heroes.
