By statute, the Illinois Torture Inquiry and Relief Commission could accept claims of torture only through August 10, 2019. (See Secs. 70 & 99 of 775 ILCS 40/1 et seq.) No further claims may be accepted. Claimants attempting to file will not be accepted.
