Du Quoin State Fair Hours:
Monday – Friday:  2 p.m. to Midnight
Saturday/Sunday/Labor Day: 11 a.m. to Midnight

Friday, August 24 - College Night

Any college student with a current student ID will receive free admission to the fair

Saturday, August 25 - Governor's Day/Republican Day

While Governor Rauner attends much of the Du Quoin State Fair, today is his day to host special guests. 

Sunday, ​August 26 - Veterans & Gold Star Families Day 

Veterans and their immediate family members are admitted to the grounds for free today.  Thank you for your service to our country!

Monday, August 27 - Agriculture Youth Day

The Du Quoin State Fair is proud to salute Illinois agriculture.  Our state's number one industry!  Today we recognize our youth exhibitors who are passionate and committed to Illinois agriculture.

Tuesday, August 28 - Democrat Day

Illinois Democrats host special guests and special events on this day.

Wednesday, August 29 - Senior Day

 Fair visitors 60 and older are admitted to the fairgrounds for free.

Thursday, August 30 - Illinois Tourism Day

The Du Quoin State Fair salutes tourism and the value it brings to the state.

Friday, August 31 - Sponsor Appreciation Day

The Du Quoin State Fair wants to thank our amazing sponsors for their commitment to the Du Quoin State Fair.  Thank you for joining us to offer fun, family friendly events throughout the day. 

Saturday, September 1 - Coal Heritage Day

The Du Quoin State Fair honors past and current coal miners for their hard work and dedication to an industry that has made southern Illinois so great.

Sunday, September 2 - First Responder Day

The Du Quoin State Fair is proud to honor all policemen, firemen, and EMTs who are on the front lines everyday.   All first responders who present their badge will receive free admission to the fair on this day.

Monday, September 3 - Family Day 

​Families from throughout southern Illinois are invited send the summer out in style by attending the Du​ Quoin State Fair.​​​​​
