How do I navigate through the training program?

Once you have selected the appropriate training course, click on “Start” button to begin.

The next screen you will see is the Table of Contents. The course is broken down into sections. Click on "Introduction and Instructions" to begin. To page through the course, click the next and previous buttons (at bottom of each screen) as needed.

Should you decide to leave the ethics training website before completing the course, it will remember what lessons you have completed when you exit, and allow you to resume training at that location when you return to the course, or to restart at the beginning.

Be sure to resume on the page where you left off if you do not want to retake earlier portions of the training.

How do I check my progress or verify my training status?

Exit the course and return to the main ethics training site window. Click on the tab labeled Training. The site will display the courses available to you, and the status of each.

If you wish to resume or review training, click the word “Review.” If you wish to restart at the beginning, click the words “start over.”

What should I do if the ETCC site is loading slowly or I cannot reach the ETCC site?

  1. Close and re-open your Internet browser (e.g., Internet Explorer) and then try accessing the ETCC again. If this does not resolve the problem, proceed to step 2.
  2. Check to see if you can access other Internet/Intranet sites (e.g., Yahoo.com, CNN.com). If you experience problems in reaching other sites, then contact your agency's help desk, since it is possible that there is a problem with your path to the internet or your personal computer. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.
  3. Reboot your computer, If this doesn't fix the problem contact your agency's help desk.

What are the minimum platform requirements for taking the course?
