Outreach & Education

Everyday someone is diagnosed with a hearing loss. Trying to learn about hearing loss and understand its impact can be overwhelming. Understanding your rights to communication access is essential for independent living.

Deaf Self Advocacy Training

Conference and Education

IDHHC coordinated trainings for community service providers to become certified in order to provide community Deaf Self Advocacy Training (DSAT) developed by the National Consortium of Interpreter Education Centers (NCIEC). Individuals will learn how to work with valuable resources that apply to everyday living to Deaf, Hard of Hearing and DeafBlind consumers. If you are interested in taking the training, please contact IDHHC.
