Facility-Based Assignments Effective February 1, 2021
The
Departments of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) and Human Services (DHS)
continue to review operational procedures and identify ways to improve
efficiency. This Notice informs Long Term Care (LTC) providers that effective February
1, 2021, the Medical Field Operations (MFO) – Central #244 office caseworkers will
be moving from “task-based” to “facility-based” assignments. This change is
intended to increase productivity and more evenly distribute workflow. Workflow for the MFO Central #244 office will
be based upon the DHS Region of the county in which the facility is located.
This
change applies to LTC providers located in the following counties - only:
