Re: Publicly Owned Transportation Providers - Ground Emergency Medical Transportation (GEMT) Webinar and Cost Report Due Date Extension
This notice provides units of local government that operate ground emergency medical transportation (GEMT) registration information for a webinar that will focus on intergovernmental transfers to the state. The notice also extends the due date for cost report submission to allow providers the ability to participate in the GEMT program in 2021.
Webinar
A webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 2:30 PM to walk local governments through the process of registering in the Comptroller’s JetPay system and using that system to make quarterly transfers to the state. This webinar should be attended by those at the local government who will be responsible for the mechanics of making the transfer.
Cost Report Due Date Extension
The deadline for submission of a current cost report has been extended until October 15, 2020. Refer to the provider notice dated August 11, 2020 for further details on participation requirements.
