The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) will offer a series of webinars regarding prerequisites necessary for a long term care (LTC) provider to use the Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) Partner Portal.
The new functionality of the ABE Partner Portal will allow LTC providers to upload supporting documentation for a resident’s case or application, specifically:
· Redetermination (Rede)
· Third Party Liability (TPL)
The uploaded documentation will link directly to the resident’s ABE case record.
This webinar series explains provider requirements that must be completed before using the ABE Partner Portal. Webinar participants will review the Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) and Security & Privacy Controls Questionnaire (SPCQ).
Registration is not required. However, in order to accommodate a large number of long term care providers, the same information will be presented in each of the following sessions:
Tuesday, October 2, 2018 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (access code 806 112 361)
Wednesday, October 3, 2018 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (access code 806 609 414)

Thursday, October 11, 2018 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (access code 804 446 242)
