Capital Development Board's (CDB) Office of Strategic Planning & Training is conducting training and examination sessions for project managers who manage CDB projects. The training format focuses on the responsibilities of the design firm in meeting the statutory, regulatory and procedural requirements of CDB. Successful participants, as determined by examination score, are eligible to manage CDB projects. Examinations are offered at the conclusion of each training session to training participants only.
Continuing Education Credit from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Professional Development Hours may be recognized by your professional discipline. However, contact them directly to find out what's required: AIA (www.aiail.org) at (217) 522-2309.
Who Should Attend?
CDB expects A/E project managers and representatives to participate in CDB training. In addition, we expect A/Es to learn the material well enough to receive a score of 80% or higher on the one-hour exam that follows the training. This 7-hour training session is also open to any firm that desires to learn more about CDB, its procedures and successful project management. These workshops are offered at NO CHARGE to attendees.
