Executive Director - Capital Development Board
Jodi Golden is executive director of the Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB), the state’s construction management agency. The board oversees the repair, maintenance and construction of more than 8,000 state facilities consisting of more than 100 million square feet. In addition to state facilities, CDB also partners with 12 universities and 47 community colleges on large-scale capital projects.
Jodi most recently served as executive director of the Indiana Education Savings Authority, overseeing the state’s 529 College Savings Plans, within the Indiana Treasurer of State’s Office. Under her direction, 529 Plan accounts and assets experienced growth of over one thousand percent. Additionally, she was an appointed trustee on the Indiana Public Retirement System Board and has served on the executive board of the National College Savings Plans Network.
Golden, a native of Danville, has a Bachelor of Science degree in speech communication and public relations and a Master of Public Administration degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She currently resides in Springfield.
