Where to place the code:

Within the entityx.htm template is an area designated for content. This area will be designated by code comments defining the beginning and end of the content area. An initial title bar is provided with the entityx.htm file. The code that generates the divider is highlighted in green text. This code can be copied to create additional title bars as needed. The code   features   will change for every title bar in order to display the correct title. The Place Content Here area is where you will place any other content or modules that pertain to the main page.

<!--Content Area Begins Here -->

Content Area Modules:

The main page content should be divided into certain modular areas that reflect information you wish to deliver about your site and entity. Here are a few recommendations based on the main (home) page for the State of Illinois. You don't have to use the modules listed below as they are just an example. Please use modules that pertain to your entity. If you have any questions about generating the title bars for modules they can be found in the Graphical Customization help area.

Current Focus:

Information found in this area changes periodically and highlights current issues, services, etc. that concern the State of Illinois and it's citizens. The section is formatted with a title bar and a graphic as displayed below. Shown below is an example of the current focus area.

News:

If your entity has articles or news that are published online please provide them through the main page. This will give citizens a reason to frequent your page. Shown below is an example of the news module. Note: In the future agencies will need to enter data into the same press release publishing system that the Governor's office uses.

Did You Know?

This area list various services that the entity / bureau performs. This allows you to list timely and most popular services that are available to the citizens of Illinois. It will allow them to easily find highlighted services without having to navigate multiple levels. Shown below is an example of the Did you know you can? module.

Putting it all together:

Once you decide on which modules that you want to use you need to put them together in a logical and aesthetically pleasing manner. Again, these modules are just suggestions. They may not all pertain to your entity. If you use a different module than the ones listed use descriptive names in the title bars. Remember that this is the main page that will represent your entity. Shown below is what the content area of a main page may look like.
