- The Science of Bubbleology - The Illinois Math &
Science Academy will present this interactive exhibit which
will allow visitors to learn science and math concepts and
experience what it is like to be a scientist through two
hands on experiments using soap bubbles.
- Be an Investigative Reporter - The Department of Human
Services hosts a game in which attendees area asked to search
the web for information to complete a news story needed
in the "press room".
- SUE the Dinosaur's Foot - The State Board of Education
will have a foot cast the Field Museum dinosaur SUE.
- Virtual Coal Mine Tour - The Department of Commerce and
Community Affairs will have an online tour of an Illinois
coal mine.
- Illinois Reads Free Book Stop - One of the Illinois Reads
passport stops for children to get stamps towards free books
that are given out in the Governor's tent.
- Be a Home Inspector for the Day - The Office of Banks
and Real Estate presents an interactive game for fair attendees
to learn about home safety.
- Future Factor - The Community College Board and the Illinois
Student Assistance Commission host an online game for young
adults to learn about college and careers. Participants
will earn free reading materials. (Free books and magazines
for completion of the game will be handed out in the Governor's
tent).
- X-Box Giveaway - The Illinois Century Network will be
have an online game who participants will be entered into
a drawing to win a free X-Box.
- Poacher Robots - The Department of Natural Resources will
demonstrate some of the technology they use to protect animals
from poachers.
- Illinois Skills Match - The Department of Employment Security
will again present the online program for job assistance.
