Video Production and Satellite Services produces news coverage, public service announcements, and educational and informational programs (remote and studio) for constitutional officers, legislators, and state agencies, boards, and commissions. The division operates a satellite system (audio and video transmissions) with which users can offer live and taped video coverage of news or state government events to television stations throughout the state, nation, and world. Satellite uplink/downlink services are available to public and private entities.
Video Production
Video production services are available for remote and studio productions of state government news coverage, public service announcements, interviews, educational or informational programs, and official events around the State of Illinois. These productions can be live and/or taped. The division also provides editing and duplication of videos upon request.

State Fairs
IIS has a special role in the promotion of the state fairs, with an on grounds presence for the duration of the fair and daily coverage of news and events.
Satellite Services The division provides coverage of state government news conferences and events around the state, which can be available the same day via satellite to TV stations throughout the state and nation. Uplinks usually consist of 15 to 30-minute windows featuring the event and extra B-roll for station use. IIS satellite services are available for a fee to state government entities and private businesses.
