Jurisdiction:                        WINNEBAGO COUNTY

 

Wages:                         Janitor                          Start                             $11.00/Hour

                                                                        6 Months             $13.05/Hour

                                                                        18 Months             $13.57/Hour

 

Health & Welfare:            For individuals in positions scheduled 30 or more hours per week:

                                                                         

                                                Single                                                   $463.43/Month

                                                Employee +  one                                  $706.17/Month

                                                Married w/spouse                               $923.91/Month

                                                Family                                                  $1225.52/Month

 

Pension:                        7.41% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more

                                    hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      All employees shall earn vacation as follows paid at hourly equivalent days

 

                                    Start                                           .85 working day per month

                                    After 5 years                            1.25 working days per month

                                    After 13 years                                   1.67 working days per month

 

New hires beginning 1st -  15th is given credit for the month; starting 16th through end of the month is given no credit for the month of hire.

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
