Wages:                         Janitor              Start                 $10.97/Hour

                                                            3 Years            $11.07/Hour

                                                            10 Years            $11.85/Hour

                                                            14 Years            $14.23/Hour

                                                            23 Years            $15.46/Hour

 

Health & Welfare:            Employees working 30 or more hours per week                                                                                  Single:                          $309.37/month

                                                Family:             $369.92/month

 

Pension:                        4.50% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      For individuals in 12-month positions paid at hourly equivalent days:

 

After 1st Year                                      5 Days

                                    After 2nd Year                          10 Days

                                    After 5th Year                           11 Days

                                    After 6th Year                           12 Days

                                    After 7th Year                           13 Days

                                    After 8th Year                           14 Days

                                    After 9th Year                           15 Days

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
