Wages: Janitor Start $8.55/Hour*
After 60 Days $9.05/Hour*
*There shall be a $0.20 increase effective 11/01/05
Health & Welfare: $176.00 per month for eligible employees.
$222.00 per month effective 11/1/05.
To be eligible, an employee must have worked or been paid for an average of eighty (80) hours during the previous month. All new and reinstated employees shall have contributions start the first day of the month following sixty (60) days of employment.
Vacation: 1 year, but less than 2 years 1 Week
2 years, but less than 8 years 2 Weeks
8 years, but less than 15 years 3 Weeks
15 years or more 4 Weeks
A week’s vacation shall be determined by totaling the hours worked by the employee during the 13 pay periods preceding either the employees’ anniversary date or scheduled vacation time and dividing that total by 13.
These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code. Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
