Wages: JANITOR: Start $15.38/hour
2nd year $16.05/hour
3rd year $17.02/hour
4th year $17.98/hour
Health & Welfare: $849.00/Month
Pension: 14.00% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.
Vacation: Any employee whose employment commences after July 1 of each year, shall be granted one day of vacation with pay for each month so employed between the date of his/her employment and the subsequent July 1, providing, however, no such employee shall in any event be entitled to more than 10 working days vacation in any one year.
Employees having at least one full year of employment from July 1 of the preceding year shall have paid vacations as follows:
1 full year – 3 full years 10 days
4 full years – 10 full years 15 days
After 11 full years 20 days
These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code. Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
