ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

 

FOOD SERVICE

Wages:                         Supervisor:                               $10.15/Hour

                                    Head Cook:                             $9.83/Hour

                                    Cook:                                       $9.42/Hour

 

After five (5) years of experience with the employer employees shall receive:

 

Eight (8) hour employees - $175.00 annual stipend

Less than eight (8) hour employees - $150.00 annual stipend

           

Health & Welfare:         Employees in positions scheduled 40 hours/week:

Employee only              $236.84/Month

Employee & Dependent(s)        $449.91/Month

Employee & Spouse                 $477.91/Month

Family                                      $778.91/Month

 

Pension:                        4.15% of gross for individuals in a position scheduled 3.5 hours/day

 

Vacation:                      All full time employees receive:

 

                                    2 weeks after one (1) year of full time service

                                    3 weeks after nine (9) years of full time service

                                    4 weeks after seventeen (17) years of full time service

            5 weeks after twenty-five (25) years of full time service

 

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for food service workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
