Site-To-Site VPN Per Network Connection

What is Included?

  • The Bureau of Communication and Computer Services (BCCS) provides redundant, centralized VPN concentrators to facilitate IPSec VPN tunnels with remote networks through the Internet.
  • Each third party service provider is responsible for the procurement and maintenance of the connection, between a customer agency and the customer agency's Internet Service Provider, accessing the Internet up to the remote network's end of the Site-to-Site VPN tunnel.
  • The third party will be responsible for the procurement, installation, and support of any VPN equipment required at their location.
  • For VPN authentication, BCCS uses "pre-shared keys".

What Should You Expect?

  • Connectivity using the BCCS Enterprise VPN service is reliable and efficient
  • VPN services provided through BCCS are coordinated between BCCS, third party service providers and State agencies
  • All requests for this service should come from the respective sponsoring State agency with whom the third party service provider is seeking to establish communications
