As part of our events celebrating the 150th anniversary
of the Gettysburg Address, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum
will be giving away a limited number of special commemorative posters designed
by artist Jennifer Adcock. Jennifer is a resident of Saratoga Springs, Utah, a recent graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and also served eight years
in the United States Army.
The colorful poster will be available Monday evening
beginning at 7 p.m. at the vigil commemorating the anniversary of the Gettysburg
Address, and will also be available the next morning the nineteenth at 9 a.m.
In addition, Jennifer Adcock will be in attendance and signing copies of her
poster in the museum’s gift shop from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Printing of the commemorative poster was made possible by a
generous donation from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation and Springfield printing
company Frye-Williamson Press.
